Lawn Fertilizing
Lawn fertilizing is one of the best things you can do for your yard, to keep it looking healthy, green, and vibrant. The biggest challenge many people face, or one of the most commonly asked questions about lawn fertilizing, is when should I fertilize? While there are a few factors that you should consider before fertilizing your lawn.
1. You really need to consider the climate, before fertilizing.
2. You should know what kind of grass you are fertilizing.
3. And you need to know what kind of fertilizer you are going to be using on your yard.
If you want your lawn looking its best all year long, it is a good idea to fertilize your lawn for 25 times a year. If at minimum, you just want your blog to stay healthy, it is a good idea to fertilize at least twice a year for your grasses health.
There are mainly, two types of grasses. There is a warm season grass, and a cool season grass. Each of these grasses as their own growing season, therefore they require a different schedule for fertilizing. When possible, it is best to apply a fertilizer to your lawn while it is actively growing. If you try to over fertilize your lawn while you’re grass is dormant, all you will do is encourage the growth of weeds and be wasting fertilizer.
There are many fertilizers on the market today that come as a combination of other agents. Many fertilizers include Wii controllers, S. controllers, mosque controllers etc. If you buy a fertilizer which makes agents in it, you can buy the agent separately and apply them as needed.
So recapping, we want to avoid applying fertilizer when your lawn is dormant, or is not green. You want to make sure that you read the label on your fertilizer and know how long it lasts. Make sure that your lawn does not have an excess amount of club to grass that will keep the fertilizer from reaching the soil. Avoid fertilizing your lawn if it is excessively dry, or during a drought. And most importantly remember that every lawn and climate is unique. Ultimately it comes down to you and your discretion on how and when you want to fertilizer lawn.
