Gutter Guards
There are lots of people out there, maybe just like yourself that have found failings in most of the gutter guard systems out there. We will outline a few tips to ensure that you not only get the best gutter guard for your home, but also that you do not fall prey to someone trying to sell you a junky guard.
The majority of gutter guards out there are junk, but there are a few that do work. Make sure when you purchase a gutter guard that it has an open area that looks like a mesh or net. This allows for the free flow of smaller things that can really clog up gutters, and also for you to use a garden hose to spray up in and wash the debris away.
The reality is though that you may want to avoid gutter guards unless you need them. They are expensive, and will still require you in most cases to clean your gutters out each year anyways. If you have a salesman come to your door and try to sell you an expensive gutter guard system, then ask him to demonstrate how well it really works, and beware of someone that tells you that debris won’t be an issue in any way.
