Ensuring that your baby is safe inside the home is just as important as outside. Thats why door knob covers and locks can be beneficial.

Some of the reasons you might get a door knob cover is to keep your baby or a small child from accessing a room that poses hazards such as a weight lifting room, or even exiting to a pool area where your child could fall in.

Sliding glass doors to pools are not as secure to pool areas as you may think. Even though a door may appear to be locked the latch can fail at times, and needs to be checked by anyone entering or leaving the home. Often times a special lock for sliding glass doors is the best way to ensure protection.

When buying a lock fora door knob make sure that the material is secure enough. Often the plastic can be weak and easily cracked if squeezed on too hard. this could lead to your baby easily being cut if the knob was grabbed or hung onto by a toddler.

You should be able to get knob covers online for about $1 – $5, but you may want to just go to the store locally to get them to make sure they are sturdy and have the proper securing method you need.
