With so many specialty, and novelty bathroom accessories available on the market today, you will be suprised at the ways you can save space. This article will be discussing the uses of a wall-mounted toilet.

A wall hung toilet is a great way to save space, due to the fact that the tank can be stored in the wall. In a small bathroom, a traditional toilet can be awkward and difficult to use. A wall-mounted toilet allows you to push your toilet completely up against the wall saving not only the space of the tank, but there is no gap between where a traditional toilet would sit and the wall.

Another great feature when considering wall-mounted toilets, is that they can be mounted at whatever height suits your needs. Taller toilets are a fast-growing trend, and having a toilet that is just a couple inches higher than traditional toilets makes a large difference in comfort and the ease of getting on and off.

You can expect to spend a little bit more money if you’re looking to buy a wall hung toilet. The average starting price for a wall hung toilet is about $300 and goes up from there. If space is really a problem, investing a little bit of money will go a long way in ensuring that your bathroom is able to cover your every need while allowing you the most possible room.

There are other ways to save space with your toilet. With so many modern toilets available, you can find small toilets to save space, and you even find a corner toilet to save space. If you’re adding a bathroom to a concrete foundation home, you can find pressure assisted toilets that back flush, eliminating the need in many cases dig and drill out your foundation to run plumbing access through your foundation. Instead these backless toilets allow you to run your plumbing straight out of the wall, then down into the ground.

Who uses hat racks anyways? You might be suprised how many homes in the United States not only have modern hat racks, but actually use them. Hat racks come in all shapes and sizes, and you just might be able to find one you like.

Whether you are a cowboy looking for a cowboy hat rack, or a coach for a little league baseball team looking for a baseball hat rack, you can definately find better deals online as apposed to looking at your local retail stores.

A standing hat rack is what you would see in a more traditional home, standing right by the front door for family and guests to use. A hat rack can double over not only as a coat rack and an umbrella rack as well allowing you to get more use out of it. These racks are better known as hat coat racks.

If you have a closet where you are planning to store a collection of hats, then a hanging hat rack may be a better choice for you. A hanging or wall mounted hat rack will typically hold a dozen hats or so, and help keep your hats from getting damaged, stepped on, or chewed up by family pets.

Hat racks come in all colors form white, black, blue and green, and are made from all kinds of materials. Wooden hat racks are the most traditional, but you can find an antique hat rack, western hat rack, rustic hat rack, or even an expandable hat rack to fit your lifestyle, and the decor you have in your home.

By the title you could have already guessed that its wood letters to hang on the wall.

This can be done as a project, or as a finished set to spell out your babies name or initials. A nice personal touch for any nursery.

If you do decide to make your wood letters to hang as a project, then after buying the blank wood letters which can be purchased at Wal-Mart, and just about any craft store like Michaels and Hobby Lobby, you will want to first sand all the edges so they are nice and smooth, and also so the paint will easily adhere to the wood.

The next step after deciding the colors you want to paint your letters is to have stencils if you want to make a perfect decoration. If you want to go freestyle with it then you may want to add other decorations such as an acid-free pen or embellishment tags to add in order to put the meaning of the your babies name or a small caption and description.

If you plan on getting more detailed you can put a piece of paper or carboard over the letter and then trace it. After doing so you will want to cut each letter out with a scissors and add mod podge to the back as an adhesive to the wood. Then you can proceed to use chalk, crayons, or brushes to add color to the paper instead of the wood.

Ribbons and other pieces for decoration also could be added after painting the letters. Regardless of how you do it, its all about adding your personal touch and being creative with crafts.

It is important to remember that dry wall or sheet rock was never meant to support the weight of anything hanging from it directly. Picture hanging is quite easy, but it is important that the correct method of hanging pictures is used to ensure they do not fall in the future.

Many times when hanging a light enough picture, or painting, a simple finish nail in the wall might do the job. However, in most cases, it is best hang pictures on the wall if they are hung using toggle bolts, anchor bolts or hung directly off of a stud. Using a stud finder will help in the daunting task of finding the hidden studs in your walls.

You can find anchor bolts, and toggle bolts at your local hardware store like Home Depot, Lowes and Ace Hardware. The easiest of the two to use would be anchor bolts. Anchor bolts will have a small plastic sleeve that the bolt or screw will screw into. They are normally small enough that you can use a phillips head screw driver to punch a hole in the wall, and tap the plastic sleeve into the hole. It must be a tight fit in order to work. Simply screw the bolt in to the desired depth and you are done.

Some anchors are threaded like a large plastic screw. These anchors screw directly into the dry wall with a screw driver or drill, and a screw can then be screwed into the anchor. These anchors can support alot of weight.

Remember that using an anchor or contacting the stud directly is really the only way to ensure that the pictures you are hanging will stay put. These are just basic tips on how to hang pictures, as there are other ways to do so.
